SEB Embedded is on a mission to push the boundaries of financial services through banking-as-a-service. We are a business unit within SEB with separate governance, ways of working and approach to tech. Our goal is to win in the battleground of fintech utilizing our strong banking fundamentals from SEB including expertise, capital and banking license giving us a unique opportunity to disrupt ourselves and the rest of the banking industry.
About the team
The team is responsible for the microservices and APIs related to accounts. This includes things like account onboarding and offboarding; transaction handling; different types of accounts and their logic including things like interest calculation, account balance; financial reporting; and more. These APIs are used both internally by other teams in our domain, such as when creating card purchases, as well as by our customers. The team consists of backend engineers and one quality engineer with a dedicated product manager.
