Together with competent and lovely colleagues, you will be a key person in the handling of incoming and outgoing goods within the port area. Tasks as a Logistician As a Logistician with us, you will have a varied and important role that involves: Checking cargo quality and preparing for loading. Managing bookings and handling incoming and outgoing goods. Administering export and import documentation. Planning and optimizing inventory management. Performing inventory and stock reconciliations. Duties as Ship's Agent The role also includes on-call duties with a focus on ship agent tasks, where you: Acting as the ships' contact person with the port, management and authorities. Prepares offers to shipping companies for calls. Maintains ongoing contact with the coastguard, pilots, Customs and boatmen.
