Description of the company ShoreLink in Luleå is looking for a ship agent, temporary employment for about 6 months with the possibility of extension, who will work to be the ship's contact person towards the ports of Piteå, Luleå and Kalix, the work management in the ports and the relevant authorities regarding ship calls. Duties and responsibilities The service as a ship agent includes, above all, being the ships' contact person for the ports of Piteå, Luleå and Kalix, the work management in the ports and the relevant authorities around the calls. You will provide quotes to shipping companies when requesting calls, maintain ongoing contact with the Coast Guard, pilots, Customs and boatmen and internally with work management and operations, before and during calls. To administer the ship's document management and the company's finances regarding the port call and providing service to the ship's crew and the shipping company while the ship is at berth are also included in the tasks. The nature of our business is changing, which means we have to adapt our way of working and be flexible. Some days the workload is high and the pace intense, other days it is a bit different. As a ship's agent, you will have a clear focus on improvement work, quality and the working environment, and you will strive to develop operations and procedures together with your colleagues. Location is Luleå. The service includes emergency preparedness.
