The position

As Head of Work Environment, you will be an important part of the transition and will be responsible for coordinating, driving and developing the work environment and safety culture within the Group. You ensure compliance with laws as well as developed processes and goals through the follow-up of common working methods for the Group and the Group. To succeed in your work, you need to guide and coach employees and colleagues towards set goals.
As Head of Health and Safety, you will be responsible for the budget and staffing of two Health and Safety Engineers, one Health and Safety Coordinator, one CE Coordinator and one Fire Safety Coordinator.
Together with the team, you work proactively with tactical and operational issues in work environment and safety, follow and communicate key figures and support the group in the development of group-wide working methods and action plans.
You will report directly to the Head of Work Environment and HR.
With us, you will be part of the Work Environment and HR department. The department consists of 18 employees who work in the areas of work environment, HR, recruitment and payroll. The department is part of the group-wide function, whose mission is to contribute to Skellefteå Kraft's strategy by developing the strategic and operational personnel, work environment and safety work. Our ambition is to be a department that provides qualified support and support to the entire group.
The position is a permanent position of 100% with location in Skellefteå

Requirements
- Post-secondary education at college or university level with relevant specialization, or equivalent education/experience deemed equivalent
- A few years of management experience in the workplace
- Experience in leading a team towards set goals
- Experience of leading change work and coaching the group to develop and develop working methods
Meritorious
- Leadership training
- Experience as a manager of work environment function or work in the energy industry
- Knowledge of Lean
- Used to working with many interfaces, both internal and external
- Good insight into current legislation and regulations in the field of work environment
- Knowledge/certification in ISO 45001
