The position
As a project and investigation engineer, you are responsible for developing new and existing business in accordance with Skellefteå kraft's development portfolio. You will independently perform analysis, technical investigation and project management within current business projects and focus areas on business innovation. You work strategically by supporting, building and leading decided business activities. Most of the projects are group-wide so you will have a lot of contact with other departments.
You will carry out investigations of both a technical and financial nature to support the business developers with deeper knowledge and insights. You will also manage and lead projects, sometimes acting as a technical advisor and representing Skellefteå Kraft to ensure that the project is carried out efficiently, safely and according to the owner's specifications and requirements.
With the help of your skills and business intelligence, you contribute to formulating requirements that make performers achieve set goals. You act as a link between the owner and contractors and suppliers through project monitoring, technical review, risk management, quality control and communication.
Relevant industry monitoring and information dissemination are also part of your duties.
With us, you will be part of the Strategy & Development department and the Business Innovation business unit where we are currently 7 employees. Together we work on the group's joint research and development projects. We develop ideas and future business for Skellefteå Kraft.
The position is a permanent position of 100% full time with Skellefteå as the stationing location. Access takes place according to agreement. Travel occurs.

Requirements
- Engineering education at university/college level, e.g. technical physics, civil engineering with a focus on machine/energy
- Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
- Education in project management
- Experience from leading and evaluating large industrial and installation projects
- Experience from technical advice and technical consulting
