The position For this position, you will be faced with various statistical, mathematical and programming technical challenges. You will be part of a team responsible for Skellefteå Kraft's trading platform and its functions included in that system. A primary responsibility is to ensure that the prices in the system are calculated in a correct and sustainable way. The system is used by the sales department, the production department and a number of major customers and partners. There are large financial flows that pass through the trading system, which means that we must have rigid control over all data and other information in the system. To help us, we have external suppliers who contribute to developing together with us and the service thus involves a certain amount of project management and documentation of changes and improvements that we make in the trading system. Your tasks will mainly consist of working in databases and programming in our own trading platform. You will collect information from external platforms that is processed and then presented and documented. You will also develop risk models and advanced risk calculations to support both internal and external customers with solutions to mathematical and statistical problems. With us, you will be part of the Financial Trading group, which consists of 9 people. We are responsible for the financial trading of electricity and other energy attributes. Financial trading is done for Skellefteå Kraft's needs but also for external customers and partners. The department is also responsible for providing analyzes, price hedging opportunities and balance responsibility to a number of municipal energy companies. We are driven by being able, together with other parts of Skellefteå Kraft, to create the best analyzes and predict how the electricity market will develop. These analyzes are important in the basis for making informed decisions for electricity trading. We will be the customer's first choice in business and investment advice, where our knowledge and service are our hallmark. The position is a permanent position of 100% with location in Skellefteå.
