WORK DUTIES With us, you get to handle small to large civil engineering projects from early ideas to finished construction in downtown environments, residential and business areas. With us, project management is included in all stages from investigation, planning, design to construction, follow-up and documentation. The projects mainly include street, land and VA facilities. You will, among other things, be responsible for timetables, finances, procurement, quality, work environment, coordination of internal and external actors and dissemination of information in your project. Our projects are exciting and many times challenging and complex. But you are never alone, expect that the days are about collaborating with others. For example, you have a close collaboration with activities within the municipality and with external actors. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who is an experienced project manager who has gone through all project phases from early stages to handover. Basically, you have a relevant university education or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way. You have good knowledge/skills in project planning, contract law, work environment, procurement, project follow-up, the construction industry and leadership. As a person, you are structured and plan, organize and prioritize work effectively. You enjoy collaborating with others where you listen to opinions but can also make the decisions needed to move forward in processes. To succeed in the role, you have the habit and ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish in your work. Since you will be an important part of our improvement work, you are expected to contribute ideas within climate-smart/sustainable construction projects. You are willing to try new ways of working and challenge established patterns and look to the overall perspective. A B driver's license is required for the position. OTHER Community planning ensures that streets and squares, communities and residential areas function as well as possible for everyone who lives and works here. The assignment includes planning, advice, supervision and a lot of long-term development issues with connection to physical planning, streets and parks, transport and service, emergency services, sweeping and water and waste.
