WORK TASKS As a special needs teacher, your duties will include providing support to the principal and educators in matters relating to children in need of special support, both at organizational, group and individual level. You will contribute to the overall work of developing and adapting learning environments to promote the learning and development of all children. An important part of the work is to participate in the follow-up and evaluation of various initiatives, as well as to provide guidance, consultation and training directly to the organization. In your role, you will also carry out educational surveys and assessments to identify children's support needs, and, if necessary, draw up action plans in collaboration with the educational staff. The work also involves interacting with both internal and external contacts, as well as developing cooperation with parents to ensure the best development of the children. Furthermore, you assist the preschool with support in matters relating to educational assessments prior to reception in an adapted primary school. You will work in close collaboration with the management team and contribute to various processes and some training activities. QUALIFICATIONS You have a strong commitment to the work of the preschool and want to be involved in developing our work to create a safe, fun, educational and equal preschool. Furthermore, you are well anchored in current policy documents and your work rests on a scientific basis. We are looking for you who are a trained special educator or you have an ongoing education as a special educator that will be completed in the near future. You are well acquainted with the preschool's mission and governing documents. It is an advantage if you have experience of working as a special needs teacher or preschool teacher in a preschool. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. As a person, you are able to adapt easily to changing circumstances. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and people's different circumstances. You are good at building relationships while being responsive, communicative and listening. The ability to plan, organize and prioritize work effectively comes naturally to you. A B-driving license is a requirement based on the possibility to get to the workplace, travel requirements for work or other conditions. We attach great importance to personal qualities.
