We are now looking for our next Continuous Improvement Leader (CIL) for Smurfit Westrock! About the role Initially, you will continue our work to take daily management, continuous improvement and the work with Six Sigma to a new level. This is done in collaboration with the Group's Business Excellence organization, all functions throughout the organization and other CIL functions at other paper mills in the division. You will coordinate various improvement activities, for example linked to sustainability and the manufacturing process. The role also includes training, driving and participating in improvement projects where you have a key role in our Green Belt projects. The Continuous Improvement Leader reports to the Head of Process Development and is functionally managed by the Director Continuous Improvement. All Smurfit Westrock paper mills have a similar role as CIL. Your background You are a civil engineer or have equivalent skills with an interest in the process industry, technology and improvement work. A prerequisite for success in the role is that you have experience and interest in structured problem solving. We are looking for you who are driven to think new and improve. You are good at building relationships and are clear in your communication while being sensitive to your surroundings. As a person, you are stable and responsible, with the ability to convey knowledge and observations in a structured and easily understandable way. You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Swedish and English.
