For paper machine 1 (PM 1), we are looking for a committed and driven manager with management experience in a production environment. As Paper Machine Manager, you have safety, total quality and production in focus for the paper production of white top kraftliner. Duties and responsibilities The work involves overall responsibility for paper production at PM1. You work strategically, to streamline the department through continuous improvements, product development and investment proposals, as well as operationally. You take responsibility for your own and management's decisions and pay attention to the guidelines/values that apply to the group and the company. The position involves personnel responsibility for two production technicians, production engineer and personnel manager. In total, the PM1 department has a workforce of approximately 35 employees. You report directly to the plant manager and are part of the plant's management team. Your background We are looking for you with a master's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent, or well-documented experience from production or related functions. Previous experience from the process industry, preferably the pulp/paper industry, and lean work is an advantage. As the group language is English, we expect you to be fluent in spoken and written English and to have good administrative and computer skills. We assume a genuine interest and experience in leading and engaging staff and driving development issues. You have the ability to see the big picture and to combine long-term thinking with the day-to-day work of the department.
