About the job as a mechanic in the Rolling Mill
A team of three mechanics work in our rolling mill.
The main tasks are roll grinding and roll maintenance, renovation of bearings and pumps, etc. You also participate in mechanical work in other departments such as welding, bearing, pump, manufacturing work. Furthermore, you participate in problem solving, plan and prepare your work yourself or together with your colleagues. You work closely with Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Technicians, Operations Technicians, Operators, etc.
Who are you?
To be a good fit as a mechanic in the Rolling Mill, you should be careful, self-driven and flexible. The position involves a lot of contact and collaboration within the team as well as with other professional groups, so you should be easy to work with and have a positive view of your surroundings.
We are looking for people who
- have a technical secondary education or other relevant training
- have current and relevant experience in mechanical processing, mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, forklift, overhead crane driving.
- have good knowledge of maintenance systems, material and document management.
- good computer skills
- have a B driving license.
It is meritorious if you
- have experience in mechanical machining, CNC and blueprint reading.
Other information
The position is permanent, full time.
Access according to agreement.
