SpareBank 1 Østlandet is strengthening its position and is now looking for a skilled financial advisor who will work with broad advice to private customers in our local environment.

Our office in Gjøvik is a full-service office experiencing good growth. Together with our subsidiaries, we offer services within banking, finance, accounting, insurance and real estate in both the retail and corporate markets.

The position reports to the bank manager.


Work tasks

  • Create unique customer experiences in both digital and physical channels.
  • Develop your own and the department's customer portfolio and find opportunities in the best interests of the customer.
  • Take responsibility for credit risk in the customer portfolio.
  • Dare to challenge customers to the right product mix and insurance solutions in the event of an accident.
  • Uncover risk tolerance and find good savings solutions together with the customer.
  • Ensure that all customers use our innovative digital solutions and self-service tools.
  • Help the customer to make good and sustainable investments
  • Stay professionally updated, train and develop your own role
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and activities to highlight and profile the bank in the best possible way

Qualifications

  • Education equivalent to Bachelor's level with relevant financial subjects
  • Relevant experience from customer-related work in sales/service.
  • Good credit skills and interest in personal finance.
  • Authorization in credit, non-life insurance and personal insurance is a clear advantage.
  • Mastery of technological solutions and self-service tools.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to drive proactive sales and be able to demonstrate sales results. Advantage if you have a broad local network.
