Are you the one?

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma, specializing in electrical automation, data and communication technology, instrument technology or equivalent. Experience of industrial instrument technology, computer networks, operation and maintenance of equipment in the field as well as theoretical further education is meritorious.

To become part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

Measurement Service is responsible for the maintenance and development of our process meters, process camera systems and optical measurement. We are now looking for an employee with a focus on process meters and process cameras.

Process meters are mainly thickness, width and flatness meters as well as weighing equipment. But there are also other types of quality and process meters. The equipment is vital for our production lines.

Process camera is responsible for our various surveillance cameras located on site.
