To become part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

The task of the Maintenance section is to provide competent and efficient maintenance services to ensure a high operational availability of our plant and production equipment.

Automation technicians in maintenance are locally organized/located and interact at all organizational levels within production.

At SSAB, we have a group-organized way of working, which places demands on your and the work group's ability to independently drive the work process from planning to execution and follow-up.

The role of automation technician includes tasks such as preventive maintenance, deeper troubleshooting, fault analysis and development of existing equipment and systems. As an electrical and automation technician, you are an important cog in the work towards a higher degree of automatic condition-based maintenance. As you are technically skilled in your field, you are helpful with questions from the entire production organization linked to maintenance.

The working hours are daytime.
