The calibration laboratory in Borlänge is looking for an employee who wants to be an active participant in that journey. As a calibration technician, you perform calibration of measuring devices for, among other things, temperature, length, force and electricity. Development of calibration methods as well as documentation and reporting of calibration results are also included in the tasks. Location Borlänge

The calibration laboratory performs calibration of the company's measuring devices in Borlänge and is responsible for the company's measuring device register.

The laboratory currently employs three people, you often work together to perform calibrations, but independent tasks are also included. We have a well-equipped laboratory at our disposal and the calibrations are mainly performed at the calibration laboratory but also at our other laboratories.

The laboratory is accredited according to SS-EN/ISO 17025 and has high quality assurance requirements.

The working hours are daytime.

Your main responsibilities

  • Calibration of measuring devices such as pyrometers, thermocouples, micrometers, calipers, electrical measuring devices and load cells.
  • Troubleshooting, repair and adjustment of faulty measuring devices.
  • Documentation and reporting of calibration results.
  • Management and administration of the company's measuring device system.

About you

  • You are interested in technology with a good practical approach and computer skills.
  • You have an education at least at upper secondary level, preferably in electrical / measurement technology.
  • You are structured and careful.
  • You are easy to cooperate with.
  • You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • If you have previous experience in metrology, this is an advantage.
