About the position

SSAB's workshop is centrally organized and interacts with all organizational levels within production. Together, in close cooperation with the production units, we deliver qualified services of good quality.

We are looking for an operator for our workshop machines with the task of machining parts for SSAB's production equipment.

The position includes rigging and programming our lathes. Work in other workshop machines also occurs.

The working hours are 2 shifts.

Your main responsibilities

  • Manufacture parts in a quality and cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in service and repair measures.
  • Participate in larger projects against cutting machining.

About you

  • You have a secondary workshop technical education and have work experience of machining and CNC programming.
  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of CAD/CAM and Edgem programming and are used to programming in Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems.
  • You are a careful person who is delivery-oriented, positive, curious and wants to be involved in development.
  • You have good computer skills and have the ability to work both independently and in groups.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Swedish.
