About the position
As Commodity Manager/Strategic Buyer, your overall mission is to guide others in, work in, and develop SSAB's purchasing processes.
You will be responsible for one or more commodity group areas and will work closely with purchasing colleagues and several other functions within SSAB's organization. We are looking for you to develop and establish good relationships with internal customers, such as project managers and other stakeholders, including potential and existing suppliers. The work is independent and with the expectation that you are involved in developing the role and working methods.
You will be part of the purchasing organization within Business Unit Sweden and you will report to the Head of Strategic Purchasing.
