As a coordinator and inspector of personal fall protection in the Work Environment & Health section, you will be an expert resource that supports the business regarding personal fall protection. Through competent advice, you help to ensure that the business complies with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations and legal requirements for fall protection and fall protection equipment. You will also contribute to risk prevention work.

You will drive the work of calling in and conducting inspections of personal fall protection equipment, which means that you will have many contact areas around our exciting business. You will have an important role in ensuring that we offer and carry out up-to-date training in the context of fall protection and work in confined spaces.

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide support to the business in relation to personal fall protection.
  • Plan the annual cycle of personal fall protection equipment inspections.
  • Call in personal fall protection equipment, inspect and document.
  • Order fall protection products.
  • Coordination of training within the framework of fall protection and confined spaces.
  • Requirements for training suppliers and quality assurance of training content.
  • Be a resource for training in fall protection and confined spaces.

About you

  • We would like you to have completed fall protection and confined space training.
  • You have knowledge of work environment legislation, with a connection to personal protective equipment.
  • It is an advantage if you have good knowledge of the facilities in SSAB's area.
  • You have good social skills and pedagogical skills.
  • It is a merit if you have completed the training competent person according to EN 365 (inspect personal fall protection equipment).
