Är du den rätta?

We are looking for a Supply Planner for SSAB's Special Steels Division to work in our S&OP process.

In addition to working in a team of specialists, the role also includes touch points and contacts with other parts of the Supply Chain and SSAB's production organization.

The team you work with is located in Oxelösund.

This is initially a temporary position of 1.5 years.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

About the position

You will mainly work with balancing between demand and supply for the plant in Oxelösund. Balancing is done on a monthly basis and follows a defined process where data is analyzed and different balancing plans are simulated. You will hold meeting forums where parts of both the Supply Chains and Production organization participate with the goal of creating a master plan for the Oxelösund plant.

Master Planning's overall mission is, in the monthly planning process, to ensure sales volumes through optimal capacity utilization between our Production Units in Scandinavia and America. Our mission also includes administering and developing Oxelösund's master planning system.

You will report to Tobias who is the head of Master Planning and the entire team is located in Oxelösund. Work and communication will be in both Swedish and English.

We offer a challenging and stimulating role in an international environment with opportunities for development

Your main responsibilities

  • In the monthly S&OP process, you are responsible for producing parts of the decision-making basis for the Division's management team.
  • The work within Master Planning includes contacts with our Global Sales organization, other parts of the Supply Chain organization and production planning.

About you

  • You have a Supply Chain oriented University degree or equivalent and/or experience of working in Supply Planning for a few years and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • The team's culture is characterized by commitment, focus and unpretentiousness. We always try to work together to develop each other and the processes we work with.
  • We are therefore looking for a team player with the ability to easily network in an international and cross-cultural environment. You are open, responsible and self-driven and build trust through clear communication.
  • Educational background and experience are meritorious but it will be your personality and motivation that will be crucial to both thrive and succeed in this role.

Some words from your future manager

"It is I, Tobias Mroczek, who can become your next manager. The most important thing for me in my work, besides the focus on safety, is that my employees feel that they have full trust from me when performing their tasks and that I give them the mandate to make their own decisions.
