Are you the one?

Now we are looking for you who want to work with planning the electrical maintenance of SSAB's rolling mills within the Sheet Metal production unit. You will have the chance to work in an exciting industrial environment with a strong focus on safety, environment and quality. You will act as technical support for daytime electricians and also for the emergency team working shifts. Location Oxelösund.

This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to work with colleagues in different businesses.

The group that you will belong to consists of nine technicians, of which three are focused on electricity and six are focused on mechanics. We also have nine generalists; 2 towards electrical and 7 towards mechanical. The team also consists of two electricians and six mechanics.

You will work on the preparation and planning of electrical maintenance works and plant improvements.

Your main responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance and improvement work.
  • Analysis of malfunctions and development of proposals for action.
  • Planning of maintenance stops in consultation with the operations organization.
  • Daily update on the status of the facilities.
  • Involvement in facility projects.
  • Developing proposals for long-term maintenance plan and budget for your area.

About you

  • You are an electrician or electrical technician with a few years of experience.
  • You have an interest in technology and want to work with development and improvements.
  • You thrive in a coordinating role with both administrative and practical elements.
  • You are a team player and value communication and collaboration.
  • You enjoy varied days and new challenges.
