About the position

As an electrician at SSAB, you mainly work with preventive maintenance and condition checks of all existing electrical equipment and drive systems in the field and are therefore an important cog in the preventive maintenance work with us.

You are involved in the maintenance work in production. Since you are technically knowledgeable in your field, you are helpful with questions from the organization linked to maintenance. Together in the work group, you drive the development and improvement of condition-based and preventive maintenance in your area.

In the daily work, you work administratively in our maintenance system IFS with, among other things, planning work orders and ordering spare parts. You plan service and order repairs of all existing electrical equipment. Measurement technology and condition monitoring of electrical equipment are also included in the work.

The working hours are daytime with the possibility of flex.

Your main responsibilities

• Corrective and preventive work in SSAB Borlänge's format lines.
• Execution of maintenance measures.
• Drawing reading.
• Root cause analysis.
• Planning and preparation in the IFS maintenance system of your own work.

About you

• You have at least an upper secondary education in electricity, automation, control technology or drive systems, or have equivalent documented knowledge in electricity.
• It is meritorious for the position if you have specific knowledge or experience in electricity, automation and / or speed-controlled AC drives. It is also desirable, but not a requirement, that you have experience of networks and IT systems.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities and for the position of electrician we are looking for a careful and structured person. You need to be able to take the initiative and be driven in your work when the situation requires.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as documentation and communication with suppliers is done in these languages.
• Driving license B is a requirement.
