The work as a shift electrician involves troubleshooting and remedial actions in our facilities. In your role as an electrician on shift maintenance, you will perform plant-related work in the form of remedial UH work in plant maintenance and technology, which means restoring the plant to production status. The work also includes systematic work with continuous improvements.

The working hours are continuous 3-shifts, that is, morning, afternoon and night followed by a leave of 4-5 days.

Your main responsibilities

  • Resolve acute faults and deficiencies in the area of Hytta-Coking Plant and high voltage.
  • You will work with troubleshooting via various systems.
  • Feedback to technicians on work performed.
  • Perform some assignments for the external customers in our area with whom we have agreements.

About you

  • You are flexible, careful and realize the importance of the group's collective effort.
  • You have a high school diploma in electricity, or equivalent vocational training.
  • You are service-oriented and have good technical knowledge.
  • You are easy to work with other professionals and seek help when needed.
  • You are flexible and want to learn new things.
  • You put safety first, both for you and your colleagues.
  • You have a driving license category B.
  • Additional is good knowledge of the maintenance system IFS8, ABB frequency converters, SIEMENS S7 and PLC knowledge.
