As an Electronics Technician at SSAB, you will be responsible for maintaining, manufacturing and repairing electronics equipment at component level to ensure high operational availability in our plants. Your tasks include manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting and modifying equipment, while documenting all work in the maintenance system IFS.

The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and other departments, and you are an important part of SSAB's safety and improvement work. The work is performed during the day and requires good knowledge of soldering and troubleshooting.

Your main responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair of electronics
  • Manufacture, test, troubleshoot, verify and modify electronic equipment
  • Ensure operational availability through preventive and correct maintenance
  • Document and report work performed in the maintenance system IFS
  • Contribute to SSAB's continuous safety and and improvement work
  • Collaborate with other departments to solve technical problems and minimize downtime

  • B driving license is a requirement
