Now there is the chance to work as a process developer at Varmvalsning in Borlänge. Here we work to improve our working methods and processes every day. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop processes and working methods at different stages of production and contribute to making a good team even better.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

About the position

As a process developer, you work to improve quality, productivity and availability in the lines. The work with the rolling process is an important part as the quality requirements for our products are high. Our goal is to do this in parallel with developing our most important resource - the person and the organization.

SSAB is building for the future with several investments and the transition to a fossil-free business. As a Process Developer, you will be part of improvement groups where a combination of daily work and improvements is a natural part of the work together with colleagues, operators and managers.

  • We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for you who see the benefits of collaborating with several different contact areas and generate positive energy in the workplace.
