About the position

The position is an operational managerial position where you, in addition to the managerial role, will also be responsible for the production scrap flow. As section manager at Recycling, you will work with a focus on leadership and development of staff and operations. You will lead a group of 4 people, both officials and collective employees. The section is a support function that works comprehensively on issues related to by-products and their coordination. You will be involved in and also drive certain issues in your area in our transition to fossil-free steel production. You will work across many interfaces and collaborate with both internal and external actors and need to enjoy having many contact surfaces.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and lead the section's staff and work environment work.
• Create and follow up goals for the section, which requires a structured approach.
• Drive improvement work in the area together with your employees, where you are expected to develop the business based on laws, strategies and goals
• Budget responsibility with financial follow-ups and contract owners in Recycling's operations
• Facility owner with associated coordination responsibility in your area
• Based on laws and SSAB's transition, find the best outlet for by-products.
• Work with colleagues to create the basis for various reports, such as the environmental report
• Responsible for the turnover of production scrap

About you
