For the section responsible for performing maintenance at Metallurgy, Steelworks, Foundry, Coking Plant and more, we are looking for a "hydraulics". About the position

The group is tasked with working with media and hydraulics and we are now looking for a new employee who will specialize in the hydraulics of our production facilities.

This is a responsible job with varied tasks and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in many different professional areas. You will be part of a group consisting of five media performers and three hydraulics. We are looking for you who want to make a difference by being involved in the development of metallurgy together with your colleagues.

You will work closely with production with preventive maintenance at our facilities. For example, round according to list, component replacements and perform troubleshooting linked to hydraulic equipment, that is, maintenance and improvement measures to ensure high operational availability.

In order for us to constantly improve and contribute to a safe and attractive workplace, an important part of the work is to participate in root cause analysis in case of problems that arise in the plants.

Your main responsibilities

  • Work closely with production on preventive maintenance on our plants, for example, rounds according to the list, component replacements and perform troubleshooting linked to hydraulic equipment, that is, maintenance and improvement measures to ensure high operational availability.
  • In order for us to constantly improve and contribute to a safe and attractive workplace, an important part of the work is to participate in root cause analysis in case of problems that arise in the plants.

About you

  • You have an upper secondary education or equivalent vocational training.
  • You may have worked in other technical areas than hydraulics before, but your interest in technology and mechanics is great.
  • You generate energy and want to create results by collaborating with your colleagues.
  • You like challenges and can work in a structured way.
  • You are independent but also easy to collaborate with others.
  • You are flexible and thorough and realize the importance of preventive work.
  • As a lot of documentation is done digitally in our UH system, you need to be comfortable using computers.
  • If you have experience of component maintenance, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, schematic reading and competence in different hydraulic systems, this is an advantage.
