About the position

In the assignment as a hydraulics engineer at Varmvals, you will have a varied work where you are largely involved and influence your working day as we at SSAB in Borlänge have a group-organized way of working.

The role includes troubleshooting, preventive measures such as inspections and periodic component replacements, remedial repairs and improvement work. You will also work with documentation and support the safe shutdown of hydraulic equipment.

The working hours are daytime with the possibility of flex.

Your main responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance.
  • Corrective maintenance (repairs).
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Improvement.
  • Planning and spare parts management.
  • Work in IFS and other existing systems relevant to a hydraulics engineer.
  • Close cooperation with the electrical engineering group and technicians at Varmvals and collaboration with operations and other resources that are important to Varmvals.

About you

  • We are looking for you who have a technical background from school and have experience of working with hydraulics or training in hydraulics.
  • You enjoy working in a group but can also work independently, are flexible, service-oriented and take responsibility.
  • You are meticulous, structured and like to keep things tidy.
  • B driving license is a requirement.
  • If you have knowledge of drawing theory and IFS, this is an advantage.
