About the position

We are looking for an experienced Information Manager who will lead the work of the Special Steels division's IT solutions to meet the business's needs for information modeling/management. You will lead and develop information models, principles and guidelines related to data recovery to support the division's transformation towards fossil free steel. You will also coordinate the work with Special Steel's information strategy to support the business together with other divisions and functions within SSAB.

In future and started programs, you will also develop, monitor the information use of the various IT solutions, which includes tools for developing solutions for monitoring. The role involves contributing with expertise from enterprise to solution level in the discipline of information modeling but also inspiring and developing employees within Special Steels IT.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead/develop the work of defining and maintaining Special Steel's information models with associated governance.
  • Lead/develop the work of defining and classifying data and information flows.
  • Contribute and propose methods and tools for information use.
  • Contribute and secure data flows in procurement with suppliers in the division's application landscape.

About you

  • To succeed in the assignment, you need to have a university degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in information modeling in large companies.
  • Analysis, structure and order are a natural part of you.
  • You have good knowledge of presentation techniques and communicate strategies / plans through clear target images.
  • You are curious and like to develop to improve working methods and methods in the organization.
  • In the role you need to be able to prepare and hold workshops.
  • You have good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
