About the position

As an instrument technician, you will work with tasks such as calibration and service, perform troubleshooting and repair as well as installation and assembly of instruments. You will also work with control equipment and automation systems throughout the coke plant and be involved in project work and improvements/modifications in the instrument area.

You will work in close collaboration with mechanics and electricians and together your task is to ensure that the production department has qualified and competent service.

Working hours are daytime.

Your main areas of responsibility

  • Performing troubleshooting, repairs and installations
  • Work with control equipment and automation systems
  • Participate in project work and improvements within instruments

About you

  • We are looking for you who have a degree from upper secondary school, specializing in electrical automation, data and instrument technology or equivalent.
  • Experience of industrial instrument technology, operation and maintenance of active equipment in the field, as well as further theoretical training, would be an advantage.
  • Your personal qualities weigh heavily.
  • We are looking for someone who likes to keep up to date with new instruments and devices. Feels that there is always something that can be improved. Works with a goal-oriented approach, is responsible and structured. You put the safety of yourself and your colleagues first. You also have the ability to solve problems with technical system issues. As the work involves contact with customers and partners, good social skills are required. You see cooperation and customer orientation as the most important success factors.
  • A B driving license is a requirement.
