Are you the one?

SSAB is facing a historic shift in steel production in connection with the transition to fossil-free steel production. This creates new opportunities and challenges for us at the laboratory in Luleå. We will build up a completely new testing business and are therefore now looking for a laboratory engineer in mechanical testing who wants to be part of that journey. We are looking for you with an interest in both technology and quality work.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
