Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
About the position
Together with your colleagues, you will work with maintenance activities in the form of, among other things, FU rounds according to the list, component replacements and perform troubleshooting linked to lubrication equipment. In order for us to constantly improve and contribute to a safe and attractive workplace, an important part of the work is to participate in root cause analysis when problems arise in the plants.
You may have worked in other technical areas than lubrication before, but your interest in technology and mechanics is great. To thrive and function well in the role, you are meticulous, independent, analytical and easy to work with others. You are flexible and thorough and realize the importance of preventive work. As much documentation is done digitally in our UH system, you need to be comfortable using computers.
If you recognize yourself in the words "driving, genuine and one step ahead", then you are the one we are looking for! Finally, we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference by being part of the development of UH Media together with their colleagues.
