The work as a maintenance engineer in hot rolling means that you will have an important role in analyzing and developing maintenance. By working fact-based and goal-driven, you support hot rolling towards a safe, stable and cost-effective production.

You work day time, on site in Borlänge and will have many contacts both internally and externally. We are about 65 people who work on operational maintenance in hot rollers.

Your main responsibilities

• You will perform criticality analysis both on machine, spare parts and process.
• You will establish investment and maintenance plans.
• You will train others and develop our maintenance systems is a natural part of your work.

About you

• You have a technical post-secondary education or equivalent documented technical knowledge.
• You have good knowledge of maintenance systems and production systems.
• You can understand and interpret technical documents.
• You have a high level of knowledge in maintenance technology and good knowledge of the process industry.
• You have good communication skills and easy to cooperate with others.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English and have good written and spoken communication skills.
