Your main responsibilities

• As Manager of the Steel Mill, you will play a crucial role in our success. You will have ultimate responsibility for the entire steel mill and, together with four subordinate managers, lead a passionate organization of 330 skilled employees. Your leadership will be central to creating a cohesive work environment where everyone strives towards the same goal.
• You report directly to our site manager, Lisette, and will be an important part of SSAB Luleå's management team and have the opportunity to influence and shape the direction of the entire business.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the steel mill delivers the right products at the right time, at the right quality and cost and your organization has both operational and maintenance responsibility.
• SSAB is facing major changes where we will build a new fossil-free steel mill. It will mean some changes ahead, so you will drive change through your leaders and the company's employees to achieve the steel production of the future.

About you

• We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a changing environment and wants to influence and run a business with deep competence and long experience. We build our business together with our employees, which requires our next leader to be present and an enabler.
• You are driven and can influence with communicative ability and get energy from delivering on set goals.
• We are looking for you with relevant managerial experience from larger operations, with subordinate managerial areas and understanding of organizational change work.
• You have an academic degree, preferably as a civil engineer and have more than 5 years of management experience from production or maintenance work.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
