Do you want to work with us in production at the Steelworks? We are now looking for a new operations manager for one of the shift teams. As an operations manager, you are responsible for leading and planning the work to maintain a smooth and stable production. We are also preparing for the transformation and future challenges. Location Luleå.

About the position

Together with the other operations managers, you lead the operations in the Steelworks. We work with systematic improvement work and deviation management, which is the key to developing our working methods. You are involved in enabling the transformation transfer and developing your employees.

You are directly subordinate to the head of Production Steelworks and are part of the management team together with the other operations managers.

You have personnel responsibility for one of the shift teams.

The working hours are 5 shifts.

About you

  • You have experience as a leader, acting operations manager or manager and have an ambition to continue to develop.
  • Both people and machines interest you and you want to develop employees and operations.
  • You are outgoing, positive and responsive with a good ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • The work requires you to be stress-resistant, responsible and energetic. You have the ability to express yourself easily in speech and writing and have the ability to influence and engage.
  • You are open to change and interested in leading people and are not afraid of the journey of change that we are in the middle of with the transformation.
