About the position

As a Process Developer with focus on raw materials, you will play a central role in SSAB's transition to scrap-based and fossil-free steel production. You will work to ensure that the right amount of raw materials of the right quality are delivered at the right time, both now and in the future. This means developing future raw material flows and working closely with different project organizations. You will have many contacts, both inside and outside SSAB, giving you a broad insight into the entire production chain. The role offers some opportunity for remote work and you will be part of a dynamic group of colleagues.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop solutions for material handling.
• Drive your own smaller activities and participate in larger projects.
• Conduct business intelligence and have a dialog with operations, buyers and suppliers.
• Work with process development and analysis of solutions.
• Suggest ways of working in dialogue with stakeholders.

About you

• Curious and solution-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
• Interested in system and logistics solutions as well as practical material handling.
• Driven and appreciate working and having contact with different types of people.
• It is advantageous if you are a trained engineer or equivalent with a few years of experience in industry, preferably with experience of planning, logistics or raw materials.
