About the position

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager in SSAB's division - Special Steels. You will be responsible for the division's IT Roadmap program and associated projects. The role will lead and drive the change of the IT landscape from plan to implementation. You will be responsible for anchoring, planning, executing and coordinating the projects in the program so that they deliver planned capabilities on time and on budget. This also means that you will need to collaborate and coordinate with the business, external suppliers and SSAB's group functions that drive the Digital Platform Renewal Program of which the division's IT Roadmap is a part.

You will be responsible for contributing with structure and program/project methodology as well as inspiring and developing employees within Special Steel's change work. The role requires strategic understanding, management of both business-related issues and purely IT technical issues, excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, very good leadership skills and extensive knowledge of SAP S4/HANA as an ERP system integrated with production systems (MES).

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and follow up the implementation of Special Steel's IT Roadmap program.
  • Organize, plan and follow up the program and its sub-projects.
  • Lead the development of the Business Case for each sub-project in the program.
  • Plan, secure and follow up resources for the implementation.
  • Lead and develop communication and change management plans.

About you

  • To succeed in the assignment, we believe you need a degree from university / college and 5 years of relevant experience in leading major change programs in major industrial companies.
  • You have the ability to communicate strategies through clear objectives and are good at building relationships.
  • You have very good presentation skills.
  • You are driven, curious and like to improve ways of working and methods in the organization.
  • You are used to preparing materials for steering groups and company management.
  • You can lead workshops, and communicate in both Swedish and English.
  • Previous experience from working in a global company is a merit.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
