Are you the one?

Do you want to be involved in developing SSAB's existing and future strategically important facilities in Sweden and the USA? We are looking for you who are interested in the development of process-related systems, automation and programming and want to take the next step towards new and improved production facilities. Location Oxelösund

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

Your position will primarily be in the development of process-related systems for SSAB Special Steel's production facilities in Oxelösund in Sweden and Mobile in the USA.

The work will initially be project-based where you participate in the entire development chain with, for example, design, test, implementation and validation. The service includes independent work under your own responsibility but also work together with your colleagues in the group and within a wide network across the locations.

Your most common contacts will consist of project managers, designers, process engineers, maintenance technicians, operating technicians and operators. Programming is mainly done with C / C ++ on Linux platform but also with the help of graphic tools in ProviewR.

Selection and interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the deadline.
