Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will play an important role in realizing this goal and thus contribute to the green transition of the entire steel industry.

About the position

As a Project Coordinator, you are part of the management team within the Investments section. The section runs investment projects and improvements with the aim of developing all the site's production lines to streamline and create a fossil-free steel production.

The project coordinator's mission is to support managers in the Investment section, ensure resource allocation and training of technical consultants. In the position, you are also responsible for training and follow-up of technical consultants and drive the development of working methods for the investment process in Borlänge.

We are looking for you with great commitment and enthusiasm. You will work closely with our production departments to ensure resource allocation in priority assignments as well as the progress of ongoing projects.

Together with the managers, you will also drive key issues within the section.
