Are you the one?

Do you want a varied and challenging job where you can contribute to ensuring high operational availability of our plants and production equipment? We are now looking for two employees for the pump maintenance group at the Permit Control Pipe & Pump section within the Central Maintenance department. Location Luleå.

Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining us on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and around 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

As a pump mechanic, you will be part of a small team that works closely with the maintenance of pumps throughout the business area in Luleå.

You will plan the work together with your colleagues, perform disassembly, renovation and assembly of pumps based on work orders, as well as reporting. You will also do some permit-based tasks out in our facilities and perform work of a more urgent nature. You will also work on improvements within the group.

Working hours are daytime.

The position is a permanent position that starts with a 6-month probationary period.

Please apply today, selection is ongoing.
