About the position

The main task of the Real Estate section is to ensure that maintenance plans are implemented and developed in collaboration with the business and our partners.

As responsible manager, you have an overall responsibility for streamlining management, which also involves investments in real estate.

We are a business in transition where your role will have a great impact. You will work across many interfaces both with internal and external partners and should therefore thrive in a communicative role with a lot of collaboration.

Your main responsibilities

  • Drive a cost-effective property maintenance by developing maintenance, improving working methods and technical solutions together with suppliers.
  • Supervision of all properties and associated fixed facilities that are linked to the function of the building.
  • Responsible for budget, investments, plans, delegations, requirements for availability and that resource utilization is optimized based on given frameworks.
  • Be an active party in collaboration with other departments in order to develop, improve and increase availability, flexibility and thus contribute to SSAB's profitability.
  • Ensure that laws, regulations and standards in the area of responsibility are complied with. This is done, for example, by following up that refrigerants, pressurized devices, steel building control, mandatory ventilation control (OVK), elevators, gates, crane tracks, bridges, etc. are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive projects and improvements within the organization's area of responsibility.

About you

  • You have good communication and collaboration skills and enjoy having many contact surfaces.
  • You are systematic, are good at seeing the big picture and developing both operations and people.
  • You have experience of the leadership role, having been a manager of specialists is meritorious.
  • You have good knowledge of property management. A civil engineering degree is an advantage.
