About the position
In the position as Technical Project Manager for Automation (Cold Mill Complex) – Level 2 automation you will be participate and take responsibility of engineering and execution tasks of Cold Mill Complex Level 2 automation together with OEM supplier. In addition you will take responsibility of engineering and execution tasks of Level 2 systems integrations, major task will be Level 2 systems and Manufacturing Execution System (MES L3) integrations. Other tasks will include OEM supply technical/functional engineering, mathematical models coordination, digitalization, cyber security and data management. You will work as a member of project management team and report to Section Project Manager Automation.
With an investment of €4.5 billion approved by our Board of Directors, Luleå is set to become our next site for fossil-free steel production. The new Luleå mill will boast a capacity of 2.5 million tons per year, featuring state-of-the-art facilities including electric arc furnaces, advanced secondary metallurgy, a direct strip rolling mill, and a cold rolling complex. This transformation will support the mobility segment with premium products, driving our mission towards a sustainable future.
