As part of our Central Maintenance department, you will be working to ensure the reliability and functionality of our low voltage installations, CCTV systems, radio and communication equipment.

The task of the Maintenance unit is to provide competent and efficient maintenance services to ensure high operational availability of our customers' plants and production equipment. Your main tasks will be troubleshooting, operation and maintenance work on low voltage installations throughout SSAB's area of operations.

You will also perform condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, planned and corrective maintenance on CCTV, radio and communication equipment for all production units. You will have an important role in meeting the production units' requirements for qualified and competent service.

The working hours are daytime.

Your main responsibilities

  • Fault rectification.
  • Operation and maintenance work on low-voltage installations throughout SSAB's area of operations.
  • Perform condition monitoring, as well as preventive, planned and corrective maintenance

About you

  • You have a three-year upper secondary school diploma, with a focus on electrical automation, computer and instrument technology or the equivalent combined with professional experience.
  • You have good knowledge of quality work according to current standards for the area.
  • Knowledge in the technical field and experience of operation and maintenance work on low-current systems, camera surveillance, radio and data communication.
  • You are a good problem solver when it comes to technical system issues.
  • As a person, you are responsible, structured and like order and orderliness.
  • You have a goal-oriented approach and see cooperation and customer orientation as the most important success factors. As the work involves contacts with customers and partners, good social skills are required.
