As a vehicle repairer, you work with preventive maintenance and repairs on all of SSAB's vehicles. This means all work for heavy production machines, passenger cars, emergency engines and electric trucks. Location Borlänge

About the position

The vehicle repairer's mission is to ensure, improve, restore all occurring errors with the goal of reducing the number of recurring errors. High availability of our production machines is important.

Your main responsibilities

  • Together with your colleagues, you always work with safety in focus.
  • Responsible for repair and preventive maintenance on all vehicle types.
  • Work based on work orders in IFS.
  • Together with your colleagues, ensure that customer needs are met.


About you

  • You have documented training and / or solid experience from the automotive industry and then preferably against heavy machinery.
  • Competence in vehicle harnesses, hydraulics, pneumatics, diagnostic tools, schedule reading understanding, tire mounting, IFS and welding is meritorious.
  • You have good communication skills, as you will have daily contact with preparation / planning / purchasing and our customers both internally and externally.
  • We attach great importance to your personal qualities such as a sense of responsibility, initiative, ability to cooperate, and that you are a prestigious and service-oriented team player.
  • You have great commitment and interest in technology.
