Application due date 2 March 2025
Are you the one?

Do you have an easy time creating good relationships, are energetic and good at organizing? Now you have the opportunity to apply for this exciting job as coordinator for visits and events at SSAB in Luleå.

Being part of the SSAB family means going on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for the development of our society and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and by 2030 we will be largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.

About the position

SSAB Luleå is facing an exciting future and there is great interest in visiting us. As our visitor coordinator will soon go on parental leave, we are now looking for a substitute until December 2026.

As a coordinator, you have an important function and are the company's representative towards both external and internal visitors. You will receive and coordinate many different types of visits and events, including from schools, companies, politicians and universities, and you need to feel confident in speaking in front of others in both Swedish and English.

You plan, coordinate and administer everything before and during the visits. Some visits you handle yourself and carry out presentations and guided tours, others are carried out by colleagues in different departments.

When you are not out in the business with visits, you work with administrative tasks such as planning or practical preparations to give the visitors as good a visit as possible.

In this role, you will also coordinate visits together with Hybrits coordinator when the visitors are to visit both companies.

In the spring of 2024, we inaugurated a brand new showroom that you as a visit coordinator both coordinate and are responsible for and use during visits.

Your main responsibilities

  • Coordinate and coordinate visits.
  • Conduct presentations and tours in the business.
  • Plan and implement events, both internally and externally.
  • Develop new concepts to bring SSAB Luleå's visitor activities towards the Minimill of the future.

About you

  • You see the importance of professionally representing SSAB.
  • You are easy to get in touch with people and build long-term relationships both internally and externally.
  • You have a strategic mindset.
  • It is a matter of course to take on tasks and solve problems and be the visitor function's all-in-all.
  • As a person, you need to feel comfortable speaking in front of people and giving presentations.
  • You thrive in a role where a lot happens and you can quickly adapt and be flexible.
  • The position requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing. We also look positively if you master more languages.
  • We see that you have an upper secondary education.
  • Special merit if you have experience in hotels and restaurants or conference operations.
  • We put more emphasis on your personality (or personal qualities) than your educational background.
  • The position requires a B driving license and good knowledge of the Office package.
