In the role of work environment technician, you belong organizationally to the Central Maintenance department, but also work with the Business Development department. You work closely with the business and are a practical support in work environment issues.

Your main responsibilities are

• Investigate and follow up on safety-related incidents
• Conducting and documenting risk inventories, risk assessments and safety rounds
• Identifying and driving improvement activities in health and safety
• Work on fire protection issues
• Collaborate with corresponding positions in other departments and with SSAB Luleå's central work environment organization

About you

• To succeed in the role of work environment technician with us, we are looking for you who, like us, think it is a matter of course that safety always comes first.
• You realize the value of conducting structured work environment work and have good computer skills.
• You are enterprising and find it easy to make contact and cooperate with others as the role involves many contact surfaces within the company.
• Furthermore, you have previous experience of working with work environment issues.
• B-driving license is a requirement.
