As an electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our green iron and green steel production is efficient and safe.


About us:

Stegra is an industrial impact company with the ambition to reduce carbon emissions in fossil-intensive industries that are struggling to transition. We are building our first large-scale green hydrogen, green iron and green steel production facility in Boden. Founded in 2020 as H2 Green Steel and renamed Stegra in 2024, our purpose has expanded to be the engine of the decarbonization of emission-intensive industries. And we recognize that these are the industries we will continue to address and reduce emissions in.

We have offices in Boden and Stockholm and expect to be around 1500 employees by the end of 2025. Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

  • Performing preventive and corrective electrical repairs and maintenance in low and medium voltage.
  • Collaborate with operators, technicians and other production personnel to communicate improvements.
  • Program and configure electrical control systems.
  • Inspect transformers, switches and other electrical components.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring and fittings.
  • Contribute to the optimization of maintenance programs.
  • Training and guiding operators in maintenance tasks.
  • Evaluate the need for spare parts for the equipment.

  • Ensure safe working conditions with Lock Out-Tag Out procedures during repairs.
  • Maintain good cleaning practices and a safe working environment together with the team.

Your experience:

  • Experience in the steel production industry is highly advantageous.
  • .
  • Good knowledge of English; Swedish is meritorious.
  • Ability to work independently and carefully.
  • Ability to work in shifts.

Advantages:

  • Three years of secondary education in electricity.
  • Understanding of industrial automation systems (preferably Siemens or Honeywell).
  • Documented qualifications in occupational health and safety.
  • Knowledge of Swedish and EU safety regulations.
