We are looking for a dedicated and experienced operator to join the Traverse and Logistics team at Stegra Boden. As an operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of our equipment and materials, so that our production lines function optimally.

About Stegra

Stegra is an industrial impact company with the ambition to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the fossil-intensive industries that have the hardest to change. We are building our first large-scale green hydrogen, green iron and green steel production facility in Boden. The company was founded in 2020 as H2 Green Steel and changed its name to Stegra in 2024.

We have offices in Boden and Stockholm and expect to be around 1500 employees by the end of 2025. We are building diversified teams of innovative and determined individuals who together drive the green transition.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safely operating different types of overhead cranes according to load charts and lifting plans.

• Responsible for lifting, loading, unloading and transporting equipment and materials.
• Carry out inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure that it is in good condition.
• Ensuring the highest level of orderliness to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
• Responsible for contributing to a safe working environment by participating in the development of controls and procedures that enhance safety.
• Assisting the team with daily work and rotating tasks to ensure competence within the team.
• Have the freedom to make your own decisions and be proactive in finding solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in establishing working methods and manuals.
• Driving license B
• Driver's license B, Traverse training certificate A
• Knowledge of general and logistics safety guidelines in Sweden

• Good knowledge of English; basic knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

Experience

• Experience as a traverse or logistics operator or similar role in construction or heavy industry.
• Experience in operating overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of operational processes and tools related to overhead cranes and logistics.
• Documented qualifications in workplace safety (e.g. OSHA, working in confined spaces, working at heights).
• Experience in identifying, handling and managing recycled materials effectively.
