YOUR ROLE

The Senior Cloud Platform Specialist is a technical, hands-on role, with architectural responsibility, who is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.

• Develop and implement cloud architecture that meet business requirements and optimize performance.
• Oversee the deployment, management, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. 
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with security standards and regulatory requirements, implementing robust security measures. 
• Monitor and manage cloud costs, optimizing resource usage to achieve cost-efficiency. 
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures. 
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements.
• You will not only advance your expertise in cloud technologies but also take on the rewarding responsibility of mentoring and training colleagues across the organization.
• Your insights and knowledge will help elevate our team's overall proficiency, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Internal: Collaborate with IT teams, development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
• External: Work with cloud service providers, vendors, and consultants to implement and manage cloud solutions. 

WHO YOU ARE

Personal Characteristics

• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in architectural design and implementation. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in Swedish and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
• Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and business needs. 

Knowledge 

• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Platform Specialist or similar role in a high-tech industry.
• Architectural Skills, Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles. Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management and compliance.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and global team.
• DevOps, Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Networking, good understanding of networking concepts and technologies related to cloud environments.
• Scripting and Automation, Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools.

Nice to haves:

• Certifications in cloud technology on Solution Architect level or higher
• Knowledge of legacy concepts and migration paths
• Experience from working closely with software- developers and engineers.

 Work Conditions

• Environment: Office-based with the possibility of remote work.
• Travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or conferences.
• Working Hours: Full-time position with standard working hours
