The Metal Research Institute Swerim is now looking for a driven IT Project Manager who wants to lead our digitalization journey forward. We offer an exciting and business-oriented role where you get to work with projects from idea to implementation and management.
About the role
As an IT Project Manager, you will play an important role in our digitization journey where you are part of the IT department and report to the IT Manager. You will work closely with the business to drive and develop our IT systems, processes and ways of working. Location is at our office in Stockholm or Luleå, with the possibility to work remotely one day a week.
Your main tasks:
* Lead and participate in IT projects and initiatives based on business needs.
* Manage and develop system support, processes and working methods.
* Monitor trends in IT, including information security and technological developments.
* Plan and develop Swerim's systematic information security work.
* Drive change management and ensure a smooth transition for new IT initiatives.
About you
We are looking for you with an academic degree in IT, systems science or an equivalent field, and experience in IT project management. You have a broad understanding of IT and its importance in the business, without necessarily being a technical specialist. Experience of information security work is an advantage.
You are curious about new technologies and look forward to developing with us. With your structured approach, you have a strong ability to plan, implement and follow up on projects, while your analytical skills help you identify opportunities and address challenges. You thrive on collaboration and your communication skills enable you to lead and drive change in an engaging and effective way. You write and speak fluently in Swedish and English
