We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Engineering and Innovation to spearhead our company's technological advancements. This role merges strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibilities, focusing on developing cutting-edge products, exploring innovative manufacturing technologies, and optimizing existing processes through superior maintenance practices. The position will be at the forefront of engineering excellence.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Product Development: 

  • Innovate and develop products that meet customer expectations and comply with standards. 

  • Lead the creation and execution of a product roadmap aligned with strategic goals. 

  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, fostering continuous improvement. 

  • Accountable for key project deliverables within the relevant area of responsibility.  

 

  • Manufacturing engineering and maintenance: 

  • Improve existing processes and explore future technologies. 

  • Ensure seamless industrialization of new products. 

  • Implement advanced technologies for efficient and automated production. 

  • Shift from reactive to preventative and predictive maintenance. 

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies. 

  • Integrate new technologies and equipment into manufacturing. 

 

  • Strategic Technology Development and leadership 

  • Strategic Technology Development and Leadership: 

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies. 

  • Develop and implement technology strategies supporting long-term goals. 

  • Collaborate with external partners to drive innovation. 

  • Build and lead a high-performing team. 

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 

  • Provide mentorship and professional development. 

 

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: 

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols as part of product and process development 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related fields. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, or product development. 

  • Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in the medical aid industry. 

  • Success in developing and executing technology strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and automation technologies. 

  • Leadership and team-building skills. 

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. 

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, MDR). 

  • Professional English proficiency.
